We hold ISO 27001:2013. Is the move to the 2022 version mandatory?
Yes, the transition is mandatory. Under the IAF decision, organizations certified to ISO 27001:2013 had to transition to ISO 27001:2022 by the end of 2025. We manage the transition for you, including the gap analysis.
Is ISO 27001 only for IT companies?
No. Any sector that handles customer data, financial records, trade secrets or personal data can benefit from ISO 27001. It is becoming more and more common in finance, healthcare, law, logistics and manufacturing.
How does ISO 27001 relate to KVKK?
ISO 27001 and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) complement each other. ISO 27001's technical and organizational controls meet a large part of KVKK's personal data security requirements. Running the two together saves both cost and time.
How long does ISO 27001 certification take?
It usually takes 4 to 10 months, depending on your company's size and how complex its information assets are. After the asset inventory and risk analysis we give you a roadmap of your own.
